Nous serons ravis de vous accueillir le dimanche 30 septembre pour le premier des 8 mini-stages du cycle destin\u00e9s aux D\u00e9butants I (matin) et D\u00e9butants II & Interm\u00e9diaires I (apr\u00e8s-midi) qui se tiendront \u00e0 Paris dans le 14\u00e8me.<\/h4>\n

After what we hope will have been a very pleasant summer, we look forward to seeing you again, or meeting you for the first time\u00a0 in September the 30th for the first one of a cycle of 8 half-day workshops for begginers on Sundays. (to see more click on “Continue reading”)<\/h4>\n

Le mini-stage du matin pour les D\u00e9butants I se tiendra \u00e0 la salle OEPF au 5 rue du Moulin Vert de 10h30 \u00e0 13h le dimanche 30 septembre. L’inscription pr\u00e9alable se fait au 01 45 70 83 94. Au programme : apprentissage des figures de base constitutives des danses \u00e0 figures anciennes, modernes et collect\u00e9es du r\u00e9pertoire anglais \u00e0 travers le longways duple minor set et les danses en wholeset : les promenades, le cercle \u00e0 4, le moulinet, la cha\u00eene des dames, la poussette, la cha\u00eene circulaire et la
\ncha\u00eene progressive, le huit, le demi-huit et le huit progressif, les mouvements de casting\u2026\u00a0 (dates suivantes : 21 octobre \/ 25 novembre \/ 16 d\u00e9cembre \/ 27 janvier \/ 24 f\u00e9vrier \/ 24 mars \/ 21 avril )<\/h4>\n

Pour les D\u00e9butants II et Interm\u00e9diaires I,\u00a0 le mini-stage se tiendra \u00e0 la m\u00eame adresse dans l’apr\u00e8s-midi de 14h30 \u00e0 17h. L’inscription pr\u00e9alable se fait par t\u00e9l\u00e9phone au 01 45 70 83 94. Au programme : initiation aux danses \u00e0 figures anglaises \u00e0 partir des danses list\u00e9es dans la premi\u00e8re \u00e9dition de l\u2019English Dancing Master (danses \u00e0 refrain ou refrain altern\u00e9 \/ danses en couplets \/ danses atypiques). Nous \u00e9tudierons en particulier comment s\u2019organisent les mouvements invariants de ces danses (leading \/ siding \/ arming) \u00e0 partir de 4 s\u00e9quences diff\u00e9rentes de simples et de doubles. Des longways duple et triple minor set nous permettront de voir ou revoir des figures d\u00e9licates (reels – double eight – cast and lead).<\/h4>\n

Programme d\u00e9taill\u00e9 pour les D\u00e9butants II & Interm\u00e9diaires I : 30 septembre<\/span> : structure en dddd avec Sellenger\u2019s round et The Maid in the Moon \/ Flowers of Edinborough. 21 octobre<\/span> : structures en ddssd-ddssd et en ddd-ddd avec Upon a Summer\u2019s Day et Gathering Peascods \/ The Princess 25 novembre<\/span> : structure en dddd, danse atypique et danse en couplets avec Hyde Park et Lord of Carnarvon\u2019s Jig \/ Draper\u2019s Garden. 16 d\u00e9cembre<\/span> : structure en ddssd-ddssd et danses en couplets avec Lady Spellor et The Night Watch \/ Hole in the Wall. 27 janvier<\/span> : m\u00eames s\u00e9quences appliqu\u00e9es \u00e0 des cha\u00eenes pour 3 et 4 danseurs avec Black Nag et Graies Inne Maske \/ Draper\u2019s Maggot 24 f\u00e9vrier<\/span> : structure ddssd-ddssd appliqu\u00e9e \u00e0 un autre genre de cha\u00eene avec Grimstock \/ Doway et Nonsuch II 24 mars<\/span> : structure en dddd-ssd-ssd avec Nonsuch I \/ Jack\u2019s Maggot

For Beginners I, from 10:30 to 13:00 at salle OEPF 5 rue du Moulin Vert Paris 14\u00e8me. In order to take part you have to register beforehand ; please call 06 60 22 23 21 no later than the day before the workshop<\/strong>.<\/h4>\n

Programme : “discovering dances”, learning the basic figures used in old, collected and new dances of the English repertoire in longways duple minor set and wholeset dances: promenades, hands four, stars, ladies\u2019 chain, poussette and draw poussette, straight and circular heys, figure eight, half figure eight and progressive figure eight, casting \u2026 (following dates : October 21 \/ November 25 \/ December 16 \/ January 27 \/ February 24 \/ March 24 \/April 21)<\/h4>\n

For Beginners II and Intermediate I, from 14:30 to 17:00: starting on English figure dances with several dances out of the first edition of the English Dancing Master (dances with a chorus or alternate chorus \/ \u201cverse\u201d dances \/ atypical dances). In particular we\u2019ll see how the invariants (leading \/ siding \/ arming) are organized in these dances, with 4 different sequels of simple and double steps. Longways duple and triple minor sets will take us through a few tricky figures (reels – double eight – cast and lead). Programme : September 30<\/span>: a dddd structure with Sellenger\u2019s round and The Maid in the Moon \/ Flowers of Edinburgh. October 21<\/span>: ddssd-ddssd and ddd-ddd structures with Upon a Summer\u2019s Day and Gathering Peascods \/ The Princess November 25<\/span>: dddd structure, an atypical dance and a verse dance with Hyde Park et Lord of Carnarvon\u2019s Jig \/ Draper\u2019s Garden. December 16<\/span>: ddssd-ddssd structure and verse dances with Lady Spellor and The Night Watch \/ Hole in the Wall. January 27<\/span>: the same sequels applied to heys for 3 and 4 dancers with Black Nag and Graies Inne Maske \/ Draper\u2019s Maggot February 24<\/span>: ddssd-ddssd structure applied to another kind of hey with Grimstock \/ Doway and Nonsuch II March 24<\/span>: dddd-ssd-ssd structure with Nonsuch I \/ Jack\u2019s Maggot April 21<\/span>: recapitulation, dances with reels and triple minor set.<\/h4>\n
