Short Workshop for Experienced Dancers (R&S) April 10, 18:30-21:15
This year we’ll have 4 sessions on « Repertory and Steps » (R&S) replacing the Thursday night intermediate level classes to discover or go over some difficult dances done in previous years and learn several steps used in the 18th century (menuet – gavotte – rigaudon) or traditional ones (reel and rant step).
These sessions will take place from 18:30 to 21:15 at OEPF, 5 rue du Moulin Vert, Paris 14 (to register, call 01 45 70 83 94 or email chestnut.cecilelaye@orange.fr) on the following dates:
October 17, 2013: the Dainty Fine bride, the Last of 20 (Braye-menuet) and the Staffordshire Hornpipe (P.Shaw).
December 12, 2013: The Humour of the Age (menuet, hornpipe and gig) – The last of 20 ; gavotte steps, using another Thomas Braye longways.
February 13, 2014 : Sawdl y Fuch and The Whirligig’s last bow (Pat Shaw).
April 10, 2014: Two Pat Shaw’s dances : Miss Avril’s delight and The Whirligig’s last bow.
4 rendez-vous « Répertoire et Pas » (REP) pour des danseurs confirmés répartis tout au long de l’année pour découvrir ou revoir des danses ambitieuses des saisons précédentes ainsi que certains pas en rapport avec la technique du XVIIIème siècle (menuet – gavotte – rigaudon) ou des pas traditionnels (pas de reel et rant step).
N.B. : ces mini-stages REP se tiennent en lieu et place du cours des intermédiaires du jeudi,
les jeudis suivants de 18h30 à 21h15 à la salle OEPF 5 rue du Moulin Vert Paris 14ème (inscription au 01 45 70 83 94 ou à contact@chestnut.fr) :
